Forward supplier quote emails to ChemCloud for automatic extraction and upload

This guide shows you how to use ChemCloud’s AI Quote Ingestor to automatically upload quotes received by email.

Forward a quote email

1. Open the quote email from your supplier in your email client
2. Forward the email to your personalised ChemCloud inbox address
3. ChemCloud AI extracts the key details from the quote and uploads them automatically

You can find your personalised inbox address on the AI Email Integration page in ChemCloud.

What gets extracted

ChemCloud AI reads the email and extracts:

• Supplier name
• Product details
• Price and currency
• Quantity and pack size
• Delivery terms and lead time
• Valid-to date

Review and edit

After a quote has been uploaded via email:

1. Open the quote on the sourcing request
2. Click Edit to see the original email alongside the extracted quote details
3. Update any fields if the AI has extracted something incorrectly
4. Click Save

Always review AI-extracted quotes to confirm accuracy before making purchasing decisions.
