How to search for an approved material

Find approved materials in ChemCloud using global search or the Approved Materials page

This guide shows you how to find approved materials in ChemCloud using global search or the Approved Materials page.

Option 1: Use global search

The fastest way to find a specific approval:

1. Click the search bar at the top of any page
2. Type the product name, supplier name, or supplier’s product name
3. Filter results to Approved Materials if needed
4. Click on the result to view the approval record

Option 2: Use the Approved Materials page

For a complete view of all approvals:

1. Navigate to Products > Approved Materials
2. Use the search bar to filter the table by product name, supplier, or supplier’s product
3. Click on any row to view the full approval record

Using the tabs

The Approved Materials page has two tabs to help you find what you need:

Tab	What it shows
Approved	Materials that have completed the approval process and are ready to purchase
Pending	Materials still going through the approval process

Click the appropriate tab first, then use the search bar to filter within that list.

Quick tips

• Use the Approved tab when checking if a supplier’s product is ready for ordering
• Use the Pending tab to track approvals in progress and see what’s being worked on
• The search bar filters as you type, so you can quickly narrow down results
