This guide shows you how to request a product sample from a supplier through ChemCloud. Sample requests are sent to the supplier’s primary contact by email.

Request a sample

  1. Navigate to the approved material record for the product you want to sample
  2. Click Request Sample
  3. Enter the quantity and units you need
  4. Add delivery details or any special instructions (optional)
  5. Click Send Request

What happens next

When you send a sample request:
  • An email is sent to the supplier’s primary contact
  • The email includes the product details and quantity requested
  • The supplier can respond to arrange delivery
  • The request is logged on the approval record
